The cost to attend Swarthmore is $65,127 but very few pay the full amount. 53% of accepted students will receive scholarship assistance due to demonstrated need and 70% will benefit from scholarships, loans, and work opportunities. All financial aid packages are loan free as the school believes financial hardships should not stand in the way of education.

If applying for early decision, financial applications are due by November 15th, and for regular decision, February 15th. Decisions regarding financial aid will be released with acceptance letters. In addition to school assistance, 17 % receive a federal grant.
