The year round quarter system allows students to choose from 12 terms to graduate within, offering the opportunity for employment, internships, dual majors, research, and more. All freshman will be required to spend Fall, Winter, and Spring on campus in classes, but be available to follow their passion for the summer term.

The five schools on campus include the Geisel School of Medicine, Thayer School of Engineering, the Tuck School of Business, the School of Graduate and Advanced Studies, and the undergraduate college.

Many of the classes are built around the idea of a researcher. Some of the top majors are Economics, General, Political Science and Government, General, Computer Science, Engineering Science, History, General.
