Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry programs prepare the ordained clergy and other religious professionals to provide spiritual, counseling, and leadership services to children, adolescents, and young adults. Includes instruction in child and adolescent psychology, human growth and development, family studies, communication skills, religious education, youth counseling, small group leadership, planning and organizing youth activities, volunteer supervision, and youth evangelism and worship.

For all the 311 degrees awarded in Youth Ministry per year, the majority of them are Bachelors degree. Of the 272 students earning degrees at the Bachelors degree level in the US, 40% percent identify as women and 60% percent identify as men. While students at schools all over the country study Youth Ministry, Virginia has the most graduates. The average annual income for a graduate with a bachelor's degree in Youth Ministry is $32,900.
