About Chiropractic

Chiropractic programs prepare individuals for the independent professional practice of chiropractic, a health care and healing system based on the application of non-invasive treatments and spinal adjustments to alleviate health problems caused by vertebral misalignments affecting bodily function as derived from the philosophy of Daniel Palmer. Includes instruction in the basic medical sciences, chiropractic theory and science, postural and spinal analysis, diagnostic radiology and ultrasound, adjustment technique, patient counseling, professional standards and ethics, and practice management.

Those who are passionate about Chiropractic can study up to a Doctors degree research scholarship. Right now, 2,707 students are granted some level of degree in Chiropractic around the United States each year. More students earn a degree in Chiropractic in Iowa than any other state. The average starting salary for a graduate with a bachelor's degree in Chiropractic is $38,300.
