About Human Development and Family Studies, General

A general program that focuses on basic human developmental and behavioral characteristics of the individual within the context of the family. Includes instruction in the conditions that influence human growth and development; strategies that promote growth and development across the life span; and the study of family systems.

For all the 8,162 degrees granted in Human Development and Family Studies, General annually, the majority of them are Masters degree. Out of the 580 students graduating with degrees at the Masters degree level in the US, 7% percent identify as men and 93% percent identify as women.
