While most students don’t pay the full price of Yale tuition, the sticker price is 92,315, which includes the tuition, room and board, and other expenses. Yale focuses heavily on its need-based financial aid program as they are dedicated to meeting the financial needs of all applicants.

To help students with their loans, Yale decided to have their financial aid in the form of grants and scholarships, which do not need to be paid back. 15% of parents will not have to contribute anything to tuition and the university actually ranked high in overall affordability in the state of Connecticut. After graduating, about 83% of students will have absolutely no student debt.

In addition to the 50% of students receiving grant aid and scholarships from Yale, 20% will receive grant money from the federal government.
