About French Language and Literature

A program that focuses on the French language and related dialects and creoles. Includes instruction in philology; Metropolitan French; Canadian French; African and Caribbean Creoles; dialects; and applications in business, science/technology, and other settings.

For all the 1,132 degrees awarded in French Language and Literature per year, the majority of them are Bachelors degree. Of the 62 students graduating with degrees at the Doctors degree research scholarship level in the US, 61% percent identify as women and 39% percent identify as men.
