Scholarship for Children of Divorce and Single-Parent Families
This scholarship is offered to any student currently enrolled in an accredited community college, undergraduate, or graduate program in the United States. GED holders and high school graduates who are about to begin college-level studies are eligible to apply as well. Applicants are required to be in good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of no less than a 3.0. Over the last two decades, attorney Edward R. Weinstein. Esq. has dedicated his career to guiding families through the emotionally challenging landscape of divorce, child custody disputes, domestic violence and other family law matters. A financial award in the amount of $500 will be given each year to a higher education student who has demonstrated a high degree of determination and perseverance despite the hurdles he or she may have encountered earlier in life due to parental divorce or estrangement.
