Discounted Tuition Rate for Residents of WUE States Residents of the 17 participating WUE states and territories automatically receive the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) tuition rate upon admission to SOU - a savings of over $13,500 per year. The WUE tuition discount is not available to students eligible for North State Promise or California Exchange tuition rates, who receive Oregon resident rates. WUE is automatically granted upon admission to SOU. WUE is a tuition rate and not a scholarship. WUE will not show up on the SOU financial aid award letter.
