SRU Performing Arts Series Endowed Scholarship
Must have a minimum 3.25 GPA in high school. Performance in high school or community arts is mandatory. Involvement may include high school and/or community theatre, band, choir, art classes, dance lessons, playing an instrument, ushering at shows, working backstage etc. This scholarship is for non-arts majors at the time of admission. Must write a short 500-1000 word essay on what the arts mean to you, how the arts have enhanced your life and why continuing exploring the arts in college will continue to be meaningful. Participation in arts activities must be identified in the essay for this scholarship The deadline for this scholarship is March 1st.
