for continuing undergraduate students The John Schultz and Betty Shiflett Endowed Story Workshop Scholarship was established to help defray the cost of tuition for talented, deserving writing students in the English and Creative Writing Department. Extended Deadline to Apply: March 01, 2024 The John Schultz and Betty Shiflett Endowed Story Workshop Scholarship is open to: -Full- or part-time, undergraduate, Fiction majors -Students who complete at least one semester at Columbia by the end of the Fall 2023 semester -Students with at least two remaining semesters of undergraduate coursework -International students may apply Scholarship amount: -Previous amount was up to $2,600 (awarded half in Fall and half in Spring) Endowed scholarship award amounts are subject to change.
