Elbert Stillwaggon Memorial Scholarship (Fire Science And Fire/Emergency Services Majors)
Through a generous gift from the New York Propane Gas Association, two $1,000 scholarships ($500 per semester) are available for Fire Science and Fire and Emergency Services majors at John Jay College. Requirements: Enrolled as a Fire Science or Fire and Emergency Services major; Sophomore standing; Minimum 2.5 GPA. To apply, student must submit: Two letters of recommendation; A 300-word essay exploring your need for the scholarship, your experiences as a Fire Science or Fire and Emergency Services major, and your commitment to the field of fire protection and prevention
