About Gerontology

A program that focuses on the human aging process and aged human populations, using the knowledge and methodologies of the social sciences, psychology and the biological and health sciences.

For all the 656 degrees awarded in Gerontology per year, the majority of them are Bachelors degree. Out of the 128 students graduating with degrees at the Bachelors degree level across the US, 80% percent identify as women and 20% percent identify as men.
