About Manufacturing Engineering

Manufacturing Engineering programs prepare individuals to apply scientific and mathematical principles to the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing systems. Includes instruction in materials science and engineering, manufacturing processes, process engineering, assembly and product engineering, manufacturing systems design, and manufacturing competitiveness.

For all the 870 degrees granted in Manufacturing Engineering per year, the majority of them are Masters degree. Out of the 407 students graduating with degrees at the Masters degree level across the US, 22% percent identify as women and 78% percent identify as men.
