Columbia CPS Award
for incoming students Students who graduate from Chicago Public Schools with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and are admitted to Columbia College Chicago are guaranteed a renewable Columbia CPS Award. The Columbia CPS Award is open to: Exceptional high school seniors who are enrolled at a Chicago Public School at the time of admission to Columbia, or who have graduated from a Chicago Public School no more than 12 months prior to admission Admitted students entering for the first time in the Fall 2024 semester Students who have earned a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) Chicago Public School graduates with less than a 3.0 GPA may be considered for this award based on the overall strength of their admission file. Renewable Award amount based on Chicago Public School Cumulative GPA: 3.75 or higher: $14,000 3.55 — 3.74: $13,500 3.3 — 3.54: $12,500 3.0 — 3.29: $9,500
