College Raptor Announces Newest $2,500 Scholarship Winner

Iowa City, IA — College Raptor announced that Brennan Ryan from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA is the newest winner of College Raptor’s $2,500 Scholarship. Brennan was selected after an extensive review process.

College Raptor helps students and families focus their college search on what matters most to them – which may result in schools they haven’t heard of being at the top of the list.

I was amazed at the vast opportunities that College Raptor was able to provide. By taking the time to investigate College Raptor and its useful college search tool, I was able to realize that I made a smart, conscientious decision in attending King’s College rather than some of the other bigger schools that I was accepted to,” said Brennan.

Academic fit, personal preferences, and cost are all factors in finding the best college option for an individual student. College Raptor’s comprehensive college discovery site and mobile app give students personalized results based on their situation, including scholarship estimates, acceptance odds, and student loan debt levels. The site and app even provide a platform to manage their college applications.

During Brennan’s college search process, one of his biggest hurdles was weighing how much college major factored into his final decision. Brennan states “I was stuck between Engineering and Physical Therapy and eventually went with engineering based on which school was right for me instead of which career I was focused on.” Ultimately he decided on King’s College because it felt like home.

Brennan is double-majoring in Civil Engineering and Environmental Science with his goal being to “put myself in a position to be able to have a positive impact on as many people as possible in my lifetime.

Our $2,500 Scholarship Program has been very rewarding for the College Raptor team as it reinforces our mission of helping students find great college options at an affordable price. We are providing future leaders the tools they need to find academic programs that will help them be successful, just like Brennan has done. We wish him all the best as he finishes his degree.” says William Staib, CEO and co-founder of College Raptor.
