College Discovery Site Highlights Schools That Fly Under the Radar

With over 4,500 colleges and universities in the US, College Raptor’s annual Hidden Gems lists, an extension to the company’s Best Colleges Rankings, were created to help showcase incredible schools that often fall under the general public’s radar. This year’s lists include hidden gems organized by region, and new for 2019, Hidden Gems for Women in Engineering, Hidden Gems for Biology, Hidden Gems for Psychology, and Most Athletic Hidden Gems. All honors have been given to schools based on College Raptor’s overall national rankings in addition to important college selection factors such as undergraduate student population and number of applications received.

Newcomers for 2019 include Trinity Washington University in Washington, D.C. and Mills College in California.
