The Stanford University Department of Public Safety, or SUDPS, is located at 711 Serra St. They concentrate on 24/7 law enforcement, security, and emergency services on campus. Sworn officers for Stanford are reserve deputy sheriffs for Santa Clara County.

SUDPS also offers crime prevention, safety, and regular notices of campus issues, including crime alerts, safety and security reports, road closures, and community outreach.
