Music Pedagogy

Music Pedagogy programs prepare individuals to provide musical instruction and tutoring to clients in private and institutional settings. Includes instruction in music theory, music composition, mastery of one or more instruments, familiarity with various musical genres and styles, principles of music education, and client communications.

For all the 376 degrees awarded in Music Pedagogy per year, the majority of them are Bachelors degree. Of the 91 students graduating with degrees at the Doctors degree research scholarship level across the US, 47% percent identify as women and 53% percent identify as men.
