Ford Engineering STEaM Scholarship
Scholarship Amount: The scholarship provides $15,000 per academic year to each student for up to four years of undergraduate study (eight terms) of full-time degree seeking students. Recipient must formally accept award by the end of the academic term in which it is awarded. The scholarship may be used for tuition, registration fees or lab fees. Eligibility Requirements: Students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Students who are from under-represented populations and/or female, demonstrate financial need or economic disadvantage by successfully completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students must be in good academic standing by the end of their sophomore year and at the time of high school graduation. Students must be enrolled in the College of Engineering & Science at Detroit Mercy and studying in these programs: -Electrical and Computer Engineering -Mechanical Engineering -Robotics and Mechatronic Systems Engineering -Chemistry -Computer Science -Software Engineering Students must accept a cooperative assignment (summer internship) at Ford Motor Company, Product Development if a placement is available.
