Spawglass Bearkat Endowed Scholarship
The SpawGlass Bearkat Endowed Scholarship was established by SpawGlass of Houston, Texas to provide financial support to industrial technology students attending Sam Houston State University. SpawGlass is a Texas based employee owned general contracting company founded in 1953 by Louis Spaw and Frank Glass. The company has completed a number of projects on campus at SHSU and has enjoyed a long relationship with the Texas State University System. It is the Donor’s intent for the endowment to provide one or more annual scholarship awards at a minimum of $1,000 each to be announced in the spring and disbursed the following academic year, half in the fall and the remaining half in the spring semester. Scholarship awards shall not exceed 80% of the earnings of the endowment. This scholarship was established to assist with education expenses. Award: $1,000.00 Deadline: February 15, 2024
