Pionero Scholars Program
The Pionero Scholars Program is an academic merit scholarship in the College of Education. This scholarship is for students who are interested in majoring in Education and becoming teachers. Each year six $10,000 scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen or transfer students who graduated from Metro Nashville Public high schools. In order to qualify, students must be Hispanic or from another underrepresented minority student group, and score a 22 or higher on the ACT. There is a separate scholarship application and interview process.
