The Luella E. Schultze Endowed Scholarship
The Luella E. Schultze Endowed Scholarship was established in 2001 through a bequest in the will of Luella Schultze and grew through contributions from many of her friends, relatives, and colleagues following her passing. -Renewable: No -Need-based: No -Recommendation: One. Candidates should demonstrate potential for becoming an outstanding classroom teacher as evidenced by strong positive recommendations during clinical experiences. -GPA: 3.0 Cumulative -Class: Senior -Major: Elementary Education -Preferences: Plan to teach in Illinois -Additional Preferences: Must be a resident of Illinois -Additional Preferences: Must have attended Illinois State University for at least 95 percent of undergraduate education -Additional Preferences: Preference will be given to students who have a proven interest in reading/language arts in the K-6 grade level. Current Students: Complete this application by December 31, 2023 (notified by March 31) Currently enrolled students in a teacher education major are eligible.
