The Kelly (Clint and Sue) Endowed Elementary Education Scholarship was established in 2003 by Clint Kelly to honor his wife, Evelyn (Sue) Kelley, Illinois State Normal University graduates in 1935 and 1936, respectively. -Renewable: Yes -Need-based: Yes -Essay: Please describe your desire and motivation to teach in the primary grades. Please limit your response to no more than 500 words. -Class: Freshman or transfer student -Major: Elementary Education -Preferences: Female -Additional Preferences: Born in Illinois -Additional Preferences: Special consideration will be given to a member of the Kelly-Brown family should that student be a qualified candidate New Freshmen: Complete this application by December 31, 2023 (notified by January 31) First Time in College students admitted to a teacher education major who will enroll in Summer or Fall 2024 are eligible. Transfers: Complete this application by April 1, 2024 (notified by June 1) Transfer students seeking to major in teacher education who will first enroll in Spring, Summer, or Fall 2024 are eligible.
