The Kelley Dennis Endowed Scholarship
The Kelley Dennis Endowed Scholarship was created in 1995 by the family of Kelley Dennis to honor her memory. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide to an incoming Learning and Behavior Specialist major, or freshman, tuition and fees, or a portion thereof, for eight continuous regular semesters, or five continuous regular semesters if a transfer student. -Renewable: Yes, up to 8 semesters if a freshman, 5 if a transfer -Need-based: Yes -Essay: Please discuss your experience working with persons with disabilities and how it influenced your career path. Please limit your response to no more than 500 words. -Listing: Demonstrate volunteer or paid experience with persons with disabilities -Class: Incoming freshman or transfer -Major: Learning and Behavior Specialist -Preferences: Demonstrate commitment to a career in teaching persons with disabilities New Freshmen: Complete this application by December 31, 2023 (notified by January 31) First Time in College students admitted to a teacher education major who will enroll in Summer or Fall 2024 are eligible. Transfers: Complete this application by April 1, 2024 (notified by June 1) Transfer students seeking to major in teacher education who will first enroll in Spring, Summer, or Fall 2024 are eligible.
