The Franson-Anderson Endowed Memorial Scholarship was originally established in 1995 to honor the memory of Class of 1952 graduate Ida Franson. -Renewable: No -Need-based: Yes -Essay: Please explain your plan for international travel for academic studies. -GPA: 3.0 Cumulative -Class: Undergraduate or second bachelor's -Major: College of Education, preferably Elementary Education -Preferences: Full time -Additional Preferences: Planning a career in teaching -Additional Preferences: Candidates must intend to use the scholarship to support expenses associated with international travel for academic studies, including student teaching, preferably during their senior year -Additional Preferences: Prefer a senior Current Students: Complete this application by December 31, 2023 (notified by March 31) Currently enrolled students in a teacher education major are eligible.
