The Class of 1934 Endowed Scholarship
The Class of 1934 Endowed Scholarship generously followed in the footsteps of the classes of 1929 and 1932 by endowing a scholarship in teacher education. The endowment was created in 1987 and was presented to the first student in 1989 at the 55th anniversary of the class. -Renewable: No -Need-based: No -Essay: Please describe your plan for a career in teaching and explain how your involvement in campus activities has enhanced your learning experience at Illinois State University. Please limit your response to no more than 500 words. -Listing: Please list your involvement in campus activities at Illinois State -Recommendation: A member of the Illinois State professional staff. -GPA: 3.0 Cumulative -Class: Undergraduate or second bachelor's -Major: College of Education -Preferences: Full time -Additional Preferences: Planning a career in teaching -Additional Preferences: Must be active in campus activities Current Students: Complete this application by December 31, 2023 (notified by March 31) Currently enrolled students in a teacher education major are eligible.
