About Divinity/Ministry

Divinity/Ministry programs prepare individuals for ordination as ministers or priests in any of the Christian religious traditions. Includes instruction in the theology and polity of a particular church, church law, liturgy and ritual, principles of pastoral ministry, homiletics, evangelism, church/parish organization and management, Christian ethics, church history, and related studies.

While Divinity/Ministry offers degrees up to the Doctors degree professional practice, the majority of students study towards a Masters degree. Students major in Divinity/Ministry all around the US, though the major at the Doctors degree research scholarship level sees the most graduates in Kentucky.
