Beauty Changes Lives Scholarships

Beauty Changes Lives manages these scholarships. Beauty Changes Lives is a non-profit that focuses on raising awareness about cosmetology, and how careers in this industry can help to transform peoples’ professional and personal lives.
They offer multiple awards for different cosmetology sub-specialties. These scholarships are funded in association with the American Association of Cosmetology Schools and the other partners. Check out some of the scholarships that you can apply for depending on the cosmetology field you wish to specialize in.
- Ratner Companies Passion & Purpose Scholarship: $3,125 to 4 new or currently enrolled cosmetology students.
- MUD Make-Up Designory: $2,500 to 5 students currently enrolled or applying to a cosmetology or esthetics program.
- European Wax Center| Unapologetic You: 44,250 to 12 students currently enrolled in a cosmetology & esthetics program.
- Amazing Lash Studio: $2,250 to 5 students studying esthetics.
Some of these scholarships require applicants to send in a video showcasing their skills and experience, while others require applicants to write an essay on a given topic or create an inspiration board.
Rosy Salon Software Scholarship

This scholarship is administered by the PBA (Professional Beauty Association). The PBA administers several other beauty and cosmetology scholarships worth several thousands of dollars each. Individual contributors set up trust funds and hand them over to the PBA for management and identification of potential candidates. This is one such scholarship.
The Rosy Salon Software Scholarship offers one $1,500 award and two $500 awards to current cosmetology, barber, or esthetics students in either the U.S. or Canada.
Minerva Beauty Cosmetology Scholarship

The Professional Beauty Association (PBA) also manages this scholarship and Minerva Beauty Company sponsors it. The PBA manages the funds of the trust, takes up the administrative duties and identifies suitable recipients for the scholarship.
This scholarship aims to offer financial support to students enrolled currently in cosmetology school. The Minerva Beauty Cosmetology Scholarship awards one $5,000 scholarship and two $2,500 scholarships.
The Great Scholarship Program

Great Clips Inc. administers the Great Scholarship Program in memory of Alice Madden Barton. It is intended for high school seniors who are going to graduate or for those who are enrolled wither in barbering school or cosmetology institute. It aims to provide financial assistance to those students who exhibit both skill and passion for cosmetology and wish to pursue a career in it. The scholarship amounts vary, but the average amount is about $500.
