The Department of Public Safety (DPS) is responsible for all emergency services at Brown. Regular safety updates, reminders, and tips are available on the website and it’s also suggested that students download the mobile safety application for real time alerts. The DPS also offers lost and found, personal alarms, self defense classes, counseling and psychological services, crisis support, and more.

Open 24/7, students can visit the DPS at 75 Charlesfield St on the east side of Providence.
