Caroline E. Holt Nursing Scholarship

The Caroline E. Holt Nursing Scholarship awards three students currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program. Students must demonstrate financial need to qualify. To apply, students must fill out the application, provide their transcript, and include a copy fo their acceptance letter to their program.

Army Nurse Corps Association (ANCA) Education Fund

Amount: $3,000

Deadline: March 31, 2020

One of the Army Nurse Corps Association’s major initiatives is the Scholarship Program. Its purpose is the support of nursing education through scholarship funding. Specifically, worthy students who have previously served in the armed forces. As a rule, these students need to be in an accredited program in baccalaureate. NHSC Scholarship Program

Amount: Varies

Deadline: April 23, 2020

Are you committed to primary care and accepted to or enrolled in an accredited U.S. school as a nurse practitioner? Then definitely apply for this National Health Service Corps scholarship. The scholarship pays tuition, fees, other educational costs, and provides a living stipend. In return, they ask you to commit at least 2 years at an NHSC-approved site in a medically under-served community.

Madeline Pickett (Halbert) Cogswell Nursing Scholarship

Amount: $2,500

Deadline: February 15

The Madeline Pickett (Halbert) Cogswell Nursing Scholarship awards two students pursuing a career in nursing. To qualify, students must either be members of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution), be eligible for membership, or have a family member who is a member. If the student has a family member who is part of the DAR, they must provide the family member’s DAR number on their scholarship application.
