One way to ensure that you do not let months go by between your college searches is to make a weekly to-do list.
Consistency is Key
Set aside at least two days a week for your college search. Pick any two days that work with your school schedule and on each of these days, research at least one college. If it looks like a college that may be a good fit for you, put it on your college shortlist right away with notes about the programs the college offers, admission requirements, and application deadlines.
If you stick to your bi-weekly schedule faithfully for a couple of months, you should have quite a few colleges on your shortlist to start with and that too, without feeling unnecessarily stressed.
After you’ve built up a substantial list, you can start delving into each college further and paring down your list based on additional criteria, such as the location of the faculty, size of the school, cost of tuition and other factors on your list.
